I think that in order to make transformation happen, I need to not only make changes, but make them in a way that they stick around, become permanent so that at the end of 2010 I can say that I have moved from point A to point B.
I desperately need this after 3 years of being stuck in a dark hole.
The first thing I’m changing is my username. I choose to not see myself anymore as someone who is battling against all odds, but instead as someone who has the gift of transformation and can do so if only she chooses to.
So, shapeshifter it is!
Thank you, K~ for explaining to me how it works!

I was at the jewelry store getting a battery for my husband’s watch, and I casually asked the lady if she could have the bracelet replaced for me.
She looked at it and said: I can fix this! All it needed was some special screwing with a special screwdriver.
And it didn’t cost a dime!

I've been

taking 1-week trips to Milan every April for the last 12 years, and since day 1 I’ve wanted to go see the Last Supper.
Every year my schedule was packed and my free time unpredictable. (I’ve gotten 4 free mornings in 12 years, which I spent on ad-hoc sightseeing and minimal shopping.)
This year I’ll book my tickets in advance and go for it!
