I have a thick Texas accent, and its not that I hate Texas or anything, but I want to water down my accent so that people will be able to understand me better and not look at me funny while I talk. I want to move out of state when I graduate so hopefully being away from Texas will help me with that. I have made some progress though, I am starting to pronounce my g’s at the end of ings, I have started pronouncing my I’s like I’s, and I don’t draw my words out as much.

How I did it: I found a video on youtube and within minutes I was whistling! I am still far from mastering it but now I can say that I can! I have always wanted to do it since I was little. I was surprised that youtube helped me as much as it did because I have had lots of people try and teach me how to do it and it had never helped one bit. Read how I did it…
How I did it: When I was about 12 my family and I went camping at lake/river. We borrowed a boat to go fishing but we just ended up exploring until we practically got lost then we ended up finding some cliff/ledges and got into the water and swam over to them. We had to climb a little bit up the rocks but then we found some good ledges at different heights to jump off of. I started by jumping off a lower one that was about 10-15 feet from the water the… Read how I did it…
I dont have very pleasant memories here. I really want to go to an out of state college, as a start to figuring out where I want to live for the rest of my life. I was thinking of moving any state north or west of here (Texas).
I have done my desk drawers and threw out a whole trash bag worth of trash and stuff from when I was about 10 years old (Lisa Frank, lol).
I need to tackle my TV stand next, then my closet which will be a nightmare.
