I bought a beginners Yoga dvd this weekend and yesterday did my first practice with it. I can honestly say that it is very difficult when you are overweight and your stomach is in the way: ) I’m happy that I did it and intend to keep at it. I won’t consider the goal attained until I really know what I’m doing and have made it a regular part of my life. I’m really happy that I have started to work on this goal.

I took one Yoga class a year ago. It was a goal and I did it but never went back. I want to go back but have so little time. Today,I went to look for a good beginners Yoga DVD. I went to Target – not a good idea. They did not have much of a selection. I am going to go online to look for a good beginners DVD. I am determined. That is my word of the day: )
I have walked 10 days out of the past two weeks. Today, while walking, I realized that I am really determined to do this. That made me really happy. When I say marathon – well I really mean a 10K run on Thanksgiving Day. It’s called the Turkey Trot and it’s in Detroit. I have wanted to do it for the past 3 years but haven’t. I have gained 60 pounds in the last 7 years and it is sssslowing me down: ) I’m gonna do this!
