I did it last Saturday. I didn’t really have a clue what I was doing, but it was fun and my shirt turned out suprisingly great!
I’m wearing it right now, actually.

but turned into so much more.
My mom found out something about me a couple months ago that…well, we’ll just say it really ticked her off. This thing that she found out about me led her to believe that I didn’t love myself and that I need to learn to be grateful for what I have.
So, as one part of my many-part punishment, she told me to start keeping a gratitude journal. At first, I was just really spiteful toward it because I still saw it as punsishment, but the more I wrote, the more I realized that it was something that I actually sort of DID need. It was nice. I wrote things in it that I liked about myself and my friends, and nice things people have said about me.
Then I just stopped writing. I got busy with school and ran out of time to write in it. So, I’d really like to start keeping it again even though I’m not as self-concious as I used to be.
I was best friends with this one girl all through elementary school, until she moved out of town. We still hung out for a little while, but our relationship started fading a lot as middle school progressed.
I guess my friendship with this person never really diminished entirely, but we han’t talked in a really long time, and one day I just sat down and thought “I really miss Jenelle. I think I’ll give her a ring!” And I did, and now I’ve been calling her a lot recently and we’re planning to have a barbeque over the summer before I leave for Governors School.
I can’t wait to see her again!
