After reading so many encouraging comments on my last entry about not being able to get an IUD, I called Planned Parenthood again (almost 6 months later) and apparently their policy has changed! I’ll probably wait til this summer to have one inserted but wanted to thank everyone for their help!
i made 80% of my christmas gifts this year, which is way more than my usual 5% or so haha. so that’s a step :)
i’m finally seeing ani for the first time TOMORROW in st louis! i’m so fucking stoked.
so far we’ve bought: a sofa, bookcases, end table, dresser, mirrors, and my desk. the only thing we really still need is a tv stand
For about 6 weeks now I’ve been working a summer job at a video rental place, and because of this I’ve been forced to work on my “customer service” (or “people handling”) skills, aka eye contact and smiling. I’ve gotten way better at work but still somehow struggle in other situations.
apparently (according to both my gyno and the local planned parenthoods) i can’t get an IUD because i have never carried a pregnancy to term. i guess it’s not exactly “healthy” haha
(don’t get me wrong, i am glad that i was warned, it’s just annoying.)

scheduling is over, now just have to actually go to the appointment :P
yaaaay. my grades were just posted and i ended up scoring all A’s for this semester. i was sure that my drawing and art history grades would be B+ but nope. :) congrats to everyone else who has accomplished this as well! (and good luck to those still shooting for it, you can do it!)
I guess it’s cheating but I was born with the ability to wake up at any alarm whenever I need to. (It’s a curse though too when you want to go back to sleep!)
i’m just not a huge fan of puking :P i’ll stick to drinking in moderation…
