I LOVE these books!!! I find them so entertaining, so enlightening, and I love discovering new things each times I read them. Right up there in the obsession list with Harry Potter. Some don’t care for the symbolism, but I feel that it is thought-provoking. I want to read them again now!
Last year, it was my very first time on high ropes at my beloved Camp Weona. I really do not like heights and was incredibly freaked out and cried at the beginning. However, I sang to myself, and kept creeping along. When I finally grabbed that trapeze I felt like I had climbed a mountain. I did it!
The next year, as a counselor-in-training, I did not have the opportunity to do it again, but instead I watched from the ground as six girls took FOUR hours as oppoed to the two that were scheduled for all to complete the course. However, they all did it, and it rocked!
