I went ahead and took out a loan on our car to pay of credit cards. We’ll pay off the loan next year with our tax refund and Leif’s financial aid. I just need to keep my credit card balance low.

I got my living room, kitchen, and bathrooms cleaned. I’ve started a chore list where I do things one night, and my husband does them the next night, back and forth. I have a feeling only I will do it.
Budgeting

I have a freakin’ master’s degree in accounting; you’d think I could figure this out. I have trouble saying no, and often get suckered into doing things I normally wouldn’t (and definately shouldn’t). I signed up for Melaleuca, and now I have to spend $100 a month on their stuff. We bought meat from a guy driving around with a freezer in the back of his truck. Anytime the husband or the baby want something, I can’t deny them.
