Although this is not a goal I will ever really complete I do feel I have made a difference. For me it hasn’t been about doing anything specific but rather being honest about my own weaknesses and achievements and life journey in general and people pick up whatever they need at the time. I’m just glad to be a making a meaningful difference even if I can’t pinpoint everything.
For someone with chronic fatigue I think I am doing pretty well. I make sure that I am very strict with my sleeping and eating habits and use ‘the pacing method’ to ensure that I pre-empt fatigue and try not to wear myself out.
I’m still learning to say No when people want to try and push me. It’s not easy to explain that I have to “pay” for it later.
My treatment plan includes BEMER which helps enormously to reboot my energy systems in the body but I need to keep using it daily or else I crash a few days after stopping.
I also use a drop of Natural Progesterone cream per day for two weeks out of the month to support my hormone levels (which include cortisol and adrenaline).
And now I have just started with 5mg of SSRI anti-depressant and hope that will help support me too.
I always take my vitamins and EFAs, and avoid alcohol and caffeine as much as possible. I try to eat a good combination of carbs, veg, fruit, protein and healthy oils/fats.
About a month ago I started doing leg exercises laying on the floor and that has been great. If I space my exercises out during the week, eat well, get good rest and use the BEMER I am ok.
I just have to keep being good or else I relapse spectacularly!
