How I did it: I used a nicotine replacment gum. I used the gum EXACTLY the way that the directions stated. I then substituted the nicotine gum for regular gum (I now have a pack a day gum habit :) I started smoking at least a pack a day at age 16. I was 33 when I was finally able to quit. I’ve done well so far. I have done regular exercise, and cut all of my white refined sugars out of my diet this week.
