Farewell Flight – New Studio Album
Farewell Flight is recording their best/newest/next album, and drinking way too much grape soda.
Originally from Harrisburg, PA and formed in 2003, Farewell Flight has toured over 40 US states spanning 29 tours, and we’ve done it completely independently. After the release of the fan-favorite album, Sound Color Motion, we recorded a sophomore album, then signed to a record label who thought it best to shelve the album and instead re-package and re-release our debut. A year after that re-release, itching to record a brand-new album, we tracked demos; however the label decided they weren’t interested and released us from our contract.
Recently relocated to Nashville, TN, we’ve written a brand new album and need your help to make it happen. A new album not only means new music for our fans, but jump starts us so we can tour again, and become a more active, producing band. We’ve never been more excited about a group of songs, and believe that this album will take us new places as individuals and a group, and will encourage listeners new and old.

Weekends Required: A Danvers Novel By Sydney Landon
Claire Walters has worked for Jason Danvers as his assistant for three years, but he’s never appreciated her as a woman—until the day she jumps out of a cake at his friend’s bachelor party.…
To support her ailing mother, Claire is forced to work a second job at a party-planning company. But when her handsome boss ends up with a front-row seat to the action, she’s mortified—and he’s intrigued.
With Danvers International in the middle of an important merger, Jason asks Claire to accompany him on weekend business trips—and suddenly all her fantasies are coming true. Her outspoken best friend thinks that getting a little “executive attention” will solve everything. But Claire sees more in Jason than just sex.
Jason is determined to know how the beautiful, sexy woman in the cake could also be his mousy assistant. The more time they spend together, the more he realizes how much fun it can be to mix business with pleasure. And how much he wants to offer her a happily ever after of her own….

I love to read and get bored quickly, if a book doesn’t keep my interest. But I never give up on them and keep going back. So I want to keep a record of what I have never finished.
My Book:
Bones Are Forever By Kathy Reichs
Passion (Fallen) By Lauren Kate
Heroes of Olympus: The Mark of Athena By Rick Riordan
Looking For You (A Laurel Heights Novel) By Kate Perry

Glasgow School of Art Communication Design Degree Show 2013
The degree show is an annual event where graduating classes from across all departments within the School of Design, the School of Fine Art and the School of Architecture come together to display their final year body of work. The show will open on the 8th June 2013.
This year the ComDes student body wants to shake things up and redesign the format of their presence in the overall show. Funds raised here will help us to design and implement a more innovative exhibition space that will hopefully help us communicate our ideas more effectively to the public and make much more effective use of the space we have.
Our group is divided into teams who deal with all areas from fundraising and sponsorship, spacial and navigation design, curation of work and we have a team designated to design and publish the catalogue. We have help with all the heavy lifting and labor from our 2nd and 3rd year students, and a handful of wonderful technical stuff who oversee the whole thing.

Growing Plants: Natural Lighting with no Electricity
Create GLOWING PLANTS using synthetic biology and Genome Compiler’s software – the first step in creating sustainable natural lighting.
It’s been a lot of fun working on this project and getting ready to launch the past 8 months, and it’s been fantastic to see the enthusiasm today.
Many people contributed to the project and to thank them we are having a small event tonight at Singularity University in Mountain View.

Fate Dice: Dice For Your Fate & Fudge Games
Help Evil Hat launch and expand a new line of Fudge Dice for use with Fate and Fudge roleplaying games (and more)!
Fate Dice™ are a premium line of Fudge Dice. Each package contains three sets of four 16mm fudge dice each (12 dice total). We’ve gotten right down into the details and rethought everything about Fudge Dice. We’ve made the symbols larger and wider, so they’re easier to read (and can accommodate some thicker and heavier ink options). We’ve given the symbols more personality than before, with rounded, flared ends and a gentle curve expressed throughout the stroke. We’re using materials and color combinations that have never been on the market before for Fudge Dice. For sale in game stores everywhere, we’ve designed the packaging to stand upright on its own, lay flat, or hang from a hook for an ideal range of display options. For our customers, we’ve put a “surprise” image behind the dice to give you an extra smile and thank-you from us here at the Hat.

Let’s Grow Homesweet Homegrown Hot Sauces!
100% natural, non-gmo, homegrown hot sauces using heirloom ingredients we plant, grow, harvest + bottle with love.
This year, we are selling bottles of Homesweet Homegrown Hot Sauce on Kickstarter to raise funds to expand our field and grow 250+ hot pepper plants, from jalapenos to ghost peppers, and more than 300 heads of heirloom garlic! The initial $850 we raise will cover the costs of buying and planting our peppers and garlic, along with the costs of organic mulches.
Our ultimate dream would be to raise enough funds to purchase a little plot of land, just for Homesweet Homegrown Hot Sauces, and invite you all to come down, pick peppers and check it out.

Help Armour Go Digital Before We Go Dark!!!
Help Save The Historic Armour Theatre!
Hollywood is forcing us to upgrade to new digital projection or go dark. Save The Historic Armour Theatre! People of Kansas City, People of the World… Help us Save Our Beautiful Theatre from going dark and upgrade us into Digital Projection! Movie distributors and studios are forcing all movie theatres to upgrade our projectors to digital by mid 2013 or else they will stop providing us with movies to show! As you might imagine, this is very pricey. For two new projectors with new sound systems, we are going to have to spend $110,000. That’s a heck of a lot of cash!
All of the major circuits have made a deal with the movie studios for the studios to pay for about 75% of their costs in converting since the studios benefit the most from the conversion to digital. However, the small independents have been left out of the deal, and many will close. NOT the Armour. Not if we have something to say about it.
Once funding is completed we will immediately put all funds towards the upgrade process. Unforeseen challenges may arise with compatibility issues and it may drive up the price of the install so the more we can raise the better to offset any unforeseen issues.

Littlest Lovecraft: The Call of Cthulhu
We are writing and illustrating a full color, illustrated children’s book of The Call of Cthulhu as part of a series of Littlest Lovecraft books. Our book will have front to back full color illustrations and is approximately 57 pages long!
Because it’s awesome! Also, we want to share Lovecraft’s works with a broader, younger audience that may have a hard time getting into the original text. It is our hope that our generation of Lovecraft enthusiasts will find our books useful in sharing their love with young Lovecraftians in the making!

Operation Milky Way
Two astrophotographers set out to capture the perfect Milky Way image.
Our Kickstarter project last year Dark Sky Tour was an overall success, but we were left with the hunger to get one shot much better: The Milky Way with an amazing foreground!
When we do astrophotography, we attach our camera to the telescope where the eyepiece would normally go. We can then track an object through the sky to take several long exposures. Ultimately, the series of exposures are “stacked” using software which improves the signal to noise ratio of the overall image. To put it simply: several stacked images produce a lower noise, clearer, better overall image.
Keeping the noise low is essential for printing large sized prints. While our images of galaxies, nebulae, and anything else we can track through the telescope print just fine at large sizes, our best Milky Way images look too noisy when printed larger than 12×18 inches because they aren’t “tracked and stacked” images. We want to capture some images of the Milky Way over amazing foregrounds that look great even when printed at 24×36 inches! We are confident this can be accomplished and have come up with a few methods on how we’ll get these shots.
I backed this project as it seems interesting.
