my grampy used to always try to make our visit to him extra special. we’d race down the hall to the elevator feed the hungry piggy back bear protected ourselves from y2k with enough peanut butter to last three lifetimes (cause “you can live for years off the shit in peanut butter”) and every time, before we left he would take us out and we would let a balloon fall off the balcony and watch as it floated off in the breeze…
