Housework. uggggggg everyone hates to do it, but like most things in life it has to be done ….no matter how much you hate it. I mean sure once in a while you put up the fight, avoiding those dishes, overlooking that crowded hamper on the floor..we have all been there but check it, IT IS UNAVOIDABLE just like pap smears and dentist trips you gotta do it. Why, because no one truly likes a messy home, it takes forever to find stuff, you are always fearful when someone stops by unexpectedly and then when you do feel like doing something its just too much too soon which makes you even more frustrated. Sooooo my rule is this: studies show that people spend at least 2 hours a day doing household chores (and if you have kids and do the cooking that number is more like 6 hours.) So by the time you reach 60 years old you would have spent a staggering total of 40320 hours doing housework! That is the equavilant of 4 years! Imagine 4 years of complaining, whining, sweaty and grungy and miserable OR make you can make it fun. Do up a chart list, google one if you have to, use a timer and spent 15 minutes doing one thing then rest and spend another 15 minutes doing something else BUT NO MATTER WHAT DON’T LET IT PILE UP ON YOU.And try to do something along with cleaning like use this time for inner reflection or compling a dinner list for next week or even catching up on the news or finally listening to that favourite cd you bought months ago or thinking over that new business idea… whatever just get up and go. Good luck and hope this helps.

get rid of keloid scars
There is still hope 14 months ago

I hope this helps someone out there. I had a piercing on my ear and it got infected which lead to the formation of a keloid. I really scared the shit outta me. I tried tea tree oil and it really worked well, the bump got smaller but it still remained. Right now I’m trying a combination of pressure therapy ( just buy a nice pair of clip-on earrings it will work just fine) and apply some scar gel daily. For those of you who like me are not great fans of the clip-on earrings just use a little cotton wool at the front and back to cushion the skin. It hurts alot in the beginning so try it with a little parcetamol or panadol but then you get used to it. The scar gel seems to make the scar a little softer but not smaller so far, but to be fair they say you must use it continuousely for at least 3-6 months before you see any change. The compression of the ear has reduced the bump significantly though. It has formed a new layer of skin underneath so i’m keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well. I hope this helps someone out there since I too scoured the webs for help when it first occured and found this useful information. Kudos to you all!
