I should have specified, read recreationally every day. Reading for school isn’t quite what I was going for, in retrospect. Ah well. I’m learning.

I got tons of lake swimming in this past summer—how perfect! Probably the best was a tiny lake in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, with deep, clear, teal water and islands to swim to. The fact that I spent the day there with some of my favourite people just made it that much more perfect, if you can have degrees of perfection.

I spent an afternoon (procrastinating from writing an essay, I might add) doing a painting based on one of the photos at the left of my profile. It turned out fabulously well—far better than I expected, having not used acrylics in ages, and it was SO satisfying!
