How I did it: A mix of buying different boxes of tea when they caught my eye, and taking the opportunity when out and about order something unusual. It hasn't changed my taste in tea, and I haven't drunk more than usual, but what it really did was make me stop and really focus and appreciate and savour my tea. How I did it: I have a tendency to deny my inner shopper the expression she needs, so I made a conscious decision to enjoy this. I took my loose change from my piggy bank, and as a homage to Breakfast at Tiffany's (where they buy the pin), took it to my favourite shop, Liberty's, to see what I could buy. How I did it: I was originally going to try and get to the 'proper' countryside or a National Trust property, but soon realised that without a car this was going to be impractical. Instead of giving up, I made a promise to myself to take proper notice of my surroundings and was stunned by how many beautiful colours there are in the trees just lining ordinary streets.
