I have started alternating cardio and strength training. Next week I am going to add dieting to my new routine. We have a contest going on in my town where teams are competing to see who can lose the most weight. I am hoping this will keep me motivated.

I have started this goal and given up after a day several times. Not anymore, Today I am making a point to start stretching everyday until I reach my goal. I hope to add a weekly entry to keep myself on task.
Need advice: I was always taught to hold the stretch for as long as it takes to say the alphabet, Is this long enough to hold a stretch?
I started out with a group that ran a faster pace then I. At the time I didn’t realize it until everyone kept passing me. I just kept moving forward and when I got to the finish I was shocked to see what my time was. I was so excited! I would love to drop another minute off my time during my next race on June 23. Wish me luck!
