I don’t want to start actually being a grown up, but I need to develop some style. It’s beyond time—and now that I make something resembling a decent living, I can’t get away with the excuse of being too poor to shop.

So worth it...

I made the decision when I turned 29 that I would develop healthy habits by the time I turned 30. The only one that I’m actually still gung-ho about is the exercise (I watch what I eat, but not too carefully… I still drink… I occasionally go to bed really late, etc.) I treat exercise like a chore that just has to get done (similar to doing laundry when you’re out of underwear) irregardless of mood, schedule, whatever, and it ALWAYS makes me feel better. The key to it, as with anything in life, is balance. And finding something you enjoy.

No matter how healthy I am, or how much I exercise, my hamstrings are always tight. Since the post-workout stretch is the best part, I figure it’s a good daily goal.
