as vanillasushi said – it’s really nice to have that safety net there (I know from personal experiance).
your own domain is great for so many reasons. My favorite is being able to just upload photos and large files to many friend easily, and making up cool/random email addresses.
If you want to do it for the money, I guess that’s one reason but I’d rather make a site for better reasons – like making a cool site.
ALWAYS do something new – I try and do at least one new thing a day. It’s what makes life worth living and leaves you with many great stories to tell.
