After several months of nothing I realized I needed to jump start this goal. I figured a class would get me motivated and keep me on track.

I am taking an hour class 5 days a week.

Having lived in Italy and learned Italian it is the strangest sensation to be able to understand almost everything the teacher says yet not know how to answer her in Spanish.

I already feel like I have a huge head start from the rest of the class.

This is a difficult but crucial goal for me. I tend to become dependent in my relationships, and I loose focus on myself and put too much time and energy into “us” and him. For the diverse men I’ve dated this problem remains consistent and it is INconsistent with my dreams, goals and aspirations that require a strong, independent, self reliant, happy successful woman.

I find myself scared in being left behind as my boyfriend continues course on his lovely promising life. I feel my clingy grip suffocating the relationship.

Vulnerability and emotion are inevitable with matters of the heart but I want to feel complete on my own regardless of whether I am dating someone or not. I want to be my own source of happiness, I want to maintain focus and passion for my identity and pursuits with or without someone.

I want to attract such friends and lovers into my life as well.

On countless occasions, on countless scraps of paper I found myself exchanging contact info because I didn’t have a business card. I was kicking myself every time I had been so unprepared.

Now I want a website. This is the Information Age!!! There is no excuse to not have presence in cyberspace. Just like the business card, not having a career path or job at any particular company is no excuse but a reason to have one.
