So we finally got married. I knew it would happen one day. So far, the married life is pretty much the same as when we were just dating/engaged. But I know that will change once we buy a house and start to have kids.

How I did it: We played around with designs we both liked and would both feel comfortable having on our bodies. We each had certain criteria we wanted it to meet, and we worked together drawing different mock-ups until we found one that worked. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Ok so this post is a long time coming. We moved into an apartment, moved into another apartment, got married and moved into a house (wow, check those off my list too!)To decide if the Boxer breed was for us, we got involved in a local Boxer rescue group. Now, we are a foster family, pulling dogs from area shelters, getting them well again, and then helping them find home of their own. We are on our fourth foster, and we have a wonderful B… Read how I did it…
So a year ago I was reading Tommyknockers. Definitely put it on the back burner for awhile to read some other authors (what can I say, I started working at a bookstore and realized that I’m missing out on a lot of stuff!)
So I finally did finish Tommyknockers and it was probably one of my least favorites. Not so bad that I wanted to stop reading, but one I feel no emotion toward either way.
Today I finished Duma Key, the latest one he has out. As a perk to working at the bookstore, we get advanced copies in all the time, and when this one came my lovely coworkers held it for me. Although no longer an advanced copy, one of the better ones I’ve read in awhile. The letter from the publisher said that early readers were comparing it to Firestarter, so I thought it wouldn’t be good since I didn’t like Firestarter that much. Well, I can see how people could draw the connection, but the books are nothing alike! This one reads way better, though as with many of his other could have been done in 100 pages less. Action took awhile to really get going – about 1/3 of the way in. But glad to have read it any way. Another check on the list!
I started drinking my 8 glasses of water a day and I’m sleeping at least 8 hours a night so hopefully I’ll begin to see an improvement.
