I was scheduled to go to Zimbabwe in August to so research for a book I was going to edit for a missionary. I thought this would make an amazing start towards my goal and help to familiarize myself with the process! Unfortunately, political strife there has resulted in the cancelation of the excursion. However, God is good, and I was given many insights at church camp this week as I listed to Dereck Mushyamunda speak about the children in his village. Perhaps this will bring about an even better opportunity.

I’ve been developing courses at work for about a year now, and love it. I especially love the challenge of creating an online course that is clear, comprehensible & worthwhile. I recently compelted my teaching degree and my goal is to combine my passion for online course design with teaching. Perhaps one day soon, I’ll be teaching one of the classes I developed instead of developing them for others.
