I’ve decided to just have a show at the college I attend. It’s not a major show, but it is my first solo show, I’ve contacted newspapers and art magazines in Cyprus, so I’m hoping it goes well.

How I did it: I applied for a residency program in Berlin and was accepted. I contacted them first, told them I was interested and how I would benefit from 3 months in Berlin. I made sure to have all the materials needed and talked about how being in Berlin would affect my work in a positive way. I applied for 4 total residences, and will continue to apply. Tomorrow I have planned to take picture of my current work and email galleries in Cyprus info about my work and pictures, I will also look into having a solo show in my hometown when I return to the states. I’ve been waiting for galleries to magically contact me, so I think I should get things started, I may bring along some business cards while I’m in Florence and London in April and network with a few galleries there.
