This is a pretty thankless goal, as not that many people are into “letter writing” these days and responses are hard to come by. However, it did feel very rewarding.

I started taking lessons in October and now I’m playing Bach so I guess I can say that I’ve “re-learned the flute” since the quality of my playing is close to – if not at the height – of my ability when I played before. Now I need to start thinking about buying a guitar..
Failure! :(

I failed at this goal because I suck and didn’t have any willpower in December. I usually get a mean case of “the seasonal” in November, but this year I started getting the blues in December. I spent more time on the couch watching “Gilmore Girls” than at the gym – fortunately today is January 2 and I went to the gym and ran and it felt superb.
