I once read that the trick to time management is not to manage to do so many things in such a short 24 hour day, but rather to do LESS things and TAKE LONGER doing them…I’m just reminding myself that this is what I have to do to enjoy life. Otherwise life will fly away faster than it already does. I want to try harder to walk at my children’s pace, that way I can share with them the awe of everything around us..snails, leaves, raindrops I want to be more be aware of the miracle of life and the only way to do so is to slow down!

I’ve found the irish jesuit’s site ‘sacred space’ of great help to my prayer life. Just in case it might be of help to anyone else you can find it at www.sacredspace.ie
With you all in my prayers,
God bless
Tomorrow my little girl starts playschool. Now that she’s going to away regularly every day, I’ve realised that I want to spend as much time as possible with her and my little son. I can’t believe I’m sending her to playschool.
She didn’t have to go; she’s still young. I listened to people who said ‘Get a job! You’ve got a Masters and it’s at a waste!’ Why did I listen to all that rubbish! The things I learn from my kids are well beyond any masters degree.
The experience of being with them, nurturing them, watching them grow into loving and caring human beings is the biggest satisfaction ever. The joy it brings is beyond words. All my schooling means nothing right now. All that counts is how I raise my kids. I can only do a job of it if i’m with them full-time during these early years.
