I have not incurred any new debt in years which is the good news. I am slowly paying off the debt that I do have.
student loan get min payments because the interest is low.
Credit Card debt is half of what it was a few years ago, this is where I see the most progress. One will be paid off this year, the other will be a few more years. No car or house debt.
Buying a house has become an obsession for me. I do feel like I will not be truly happy until I own a house again. I think about it every day, it’s probably making me feel depressed that I don’t own a home. In June we will apply for a mortgage, I will be praying that we are approved again. A huge hurdle is that house inventory is very low and prices are very high where I live. I have even considered moving to a location where prices are lower so that I can achieve this goal sooner.
