I have sat for the CSTP exam offered by UK’s ISEB organisation (Certified Software Test Professional). As of yet, there is no exam in the UK (that I know of) for Certified Test manager. But we’ll see how things go in the future—maybe I’ll do the exam soon in the US!

I did two dives over all (25 mins each). The first time was scary, weird, and my mask kept filling with SALT WATER. ARRGH! So I didn’t complete the first dive really even though I tried 3 times. The second time I was MUCH more nervous (because I was afraid of the same problem), but my mask fit perfectly and then after the first few minutes, I started to relax more and more. It also helped the instructor was right next to me the whole time, as well as my husband (PADI certified) who held my hand a couple times. And when I got the confidence to look around a bit, I saw jelly fish, fish, cool rocks and the underwater cave. This fish came right up to me and looked me in the face! :) SO COOL! Highly recommended if you’ve never done it!
I got Lasek+ on Feb 21, 2006 (I had very bad eyes, 4.00 and 4.75)- and now, 5? weeks later, I am AMAZED. Sure, it was not fun for the first three days after – the pain, the weeping, the light sensitivity, but almost overnight the 4th day, things were dramatically improved. My eyes now are better than driving standard! I can wake up and see! My life is changed! I’m not afraid to walk home in the dark, because I CAN SEE! I’m not afraid to ride my bicycle in the city, because I now have depth perception! And the list goes on! My advice though, is to do your research and choose a surgeon that is VERY experienced (mine had done 12,000 eyes), and go with the office that makes you feel comfortable and cared for. (www.ultralase.com in London, England) I can’t say enough good things about it! Good luck, you’ll wish you did it sooner! (I’m 34 btw)
