My roommates & I subscribed to the Tucson CSA. 4 years ago

community supported agriculture for those, like me, who didn’t know what CSA stood for. mighty fine local produce, let me tell you: baby eggplants, sweet potatoes, fresh basil, lovely organic pears, so much goodness from the desert it’s freakin’ unbelievable. i heart my csa.

exercise three times a week
I biked 32 miles last week!! 4 years ago

Since I spruced up my cream 3-speed Schwinn, I’ve been unstoppable. I’ve got legs of steel, abs of, well, gushiness. But it’s voluptuous gush, you know? Midwestern love handles that aren’t that plentiful. Something to hold onto. I digress.

Anyway, my commute involves a 4-mile bike ride to and from school for a total of 8 miles roundtrip. I’m loving the gasoline-free mode of transportation and I’m well on my way to looking and feeling better.

I still eat cookies, but not as many and it’s way easier to peddle uphill than it used to be. Rock on little Schwinn!!!
