go whale watching

I’ve been to Depoe Bay (the resident whale watching place-to-be) and seen whales off the coast before, but last weekend I finally actually went out to sea on a boat to go whale watching. We saw two whales swimming together and were able to watch them feed and resurface for 40+ minutes. We were fairly close by the time we were ready to head back in, but didn’t get any good pics. We also watched a seal play and beg for food at the dock that we launched from. Very fun. And wet.

live on acreage

I have just over two acres but we have a field next door with 20 or so cows and it’s feels like it’s mine too. I look out over it when I sit on the deck of my loft. I love it!
