Signed up for a yoga class for next semester! I’d like to try a Pilates class too before I call this goal complete. I had done power yoga before and really liked it. This time I just signed up for yoga, no special type of yoga so we’ll see if it is still challenging, but I’m excited for it.

How I did it: I only hopped out of a bus for a second to see it so I'd love to go back and spend more time there, but at least I saw it! No monster though... Read how I did it…
How I did it: Though not exactly the answer I was hoping for, talking with others did help me finally make a decision. That decision is not to study abroad as it will be too stressful to plan and manage graduating on time. My new goal will now be to save my money for my own trip abroad. And I won't have to study on it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started my list one day over the summer and just came back to it today and finished it up. It is amazing! We get so caught up in our schedules and work, it is easy to forget about all the small things that make you happy everyday or all the fond memories you have of your life thus far! Everyone should do this :) Read how I did it…

So I went to speak with an advisor about studying abroad and though I had really hoped it would work out, I think I’ve come to the conclusion that studying abroad is not for me at this point. The main reason I want to study abroad is to travel, more so than to take classes and add diversity to my education. My major and my career path will not necessarily be enhanced by studying abroad and because I am nearing my senior year and graduation, it will be much simpler to finish out my time here and have all my requirements in order for applying to grad school.
MY HOPE and MY PLAN is to SAVE MY MONEY for my own trip abroad where I can really plan everything myself and to take said trip at a time that is more convenient, like after graduation. It is hard to say I won’t be studying abroad BUT I CAN”T WAIT to go abroad on my own terms when I can have the rest of my life in order!
I applied online to the ASB program but the due date has already passed so I am on the wait list now. You never know, a spot could open up!
