How I did it: I set aside a day and made sure I had everything I needed - baskets for organizing, wood cleaner, the new bureau for my craft supplies, etc. I set up zones in the kitchen for the stuff that didn't belong in the dining room - one pile of stuff that belongs upstairs, one for recycling, and one for stuff going to the basement. How I did it: I whined and suffered and complained to anyone who would listen. But aside from that I just made the time in my life (most weeks) for a lot of studying. I also had to do homework assignments, workbook assignments, and an oral presentation. How I did it: I put all of my poetry books out on my desk where they are easy to get at. I also signed up for The Writer's Almanac (http://writersalmanac.publicradio.org/) poem of the day e-mail.
