Seen films, read kids versions of them, but never sat down and read either of them. Something thats gotta be done.
On the positive side I’ve managed to avoid seeing Brad Pitt in Troy so far – that must count for something surely?
This is one of my more ambitious 43 things. Having Irish roots is the main reason, but Gaelic also seems rather romantic and noble(?) – the language of the faeries (probably all that Tolkien I’ve been reading!)
I’m usually thinking of how to introduce myself, remember to smile, firm handshake now, instead of listening to what the other person is saying. Doh!
