How I did it: You'll need: hot, soapy water steel wool pads, like Brillo or SOS over cleaner spray a ventilated kitchen paper towels lots of elbow grease Do this: Wear rubber gloves (on your hands). Remove the oven racks, broiler pan, and any other parts that are dirty and not bolted to the oven. Soak this in the hot soapy water to dissolve some of the crud. Scrub with the steel wool pads. Last week I created a poetry blog with the goal of publishing a poem each week to it.
While on the plane from Denver to Chicago on Thursday, I sketched some ideas for poems. While on the plane from Chicago to Denver on Sunday, I composed a draft of three quatrains that will get some polish before being uploaded to the blog.
I have acquired two books on acrylic techniques and have been delighted to find that this is not like the watercolors I have played with before. Some of the textural techniques I only thought possible with oils can be achieved with acrylic paints. This will certainly make for more fun.
Early experimentation with mixing and blending have been both fun and educational.
