This is really emotional for me. I have worked nonstop on this goal the entire year. I have cried, stressed, and wanted to give up many times and face the fact that I would have to repeat my senior year, but I never did that. I never gave up. I won when the odds were not in my favor, because today, I was awarded my high school diploma. It is bittersweet somehow, I’m thankful to be done, but will miss it. But I also know I’m off to bigger and better things. I am excited for what the future holds!

At the end of the first long day, all I wanted was to curl up in my sleeping bag in a tent where I would be covered from bugs. However, we really were roughing it, and had t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was riding home from a new friends surprise birthday party. I was in a camaro with the top down looking up at the cloudless night sky in july on an empty freeway feeling the wind. me in the back sitting next to my best friend, a cute nice boy driving me home, and a reunited friend in the passenger seat. Everyone was happy but we didnt need to say anything then, we just listened to the radio, rihanna was playing. it was warm and cool at … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I researched what the military needed most and got some of the items, and made neck gaitors for when they get cold. I send these items out in care packages. I also wrote letters to and encouraged others to write thank you letters to veteran and soldiers serving. Read how I did it…
