2. By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept (Paulo Coelho) – 14 Jan
Been wanting to read this for a few years; glad I finally got around to it.

3. French Revolutions (Tim Moore) – 4 Feb
Laugh-out-loud funny (along the lines of Bill Bryson) – more so if you’re familiar with a bit of rural French culture (and a bit of French!). Loved it.

Tried this in 2006 too, but failed miserably, with just 11 books completed! This was largely due to the fact that I spent several months trying to wade through Atlas Shrugged (which I eventually gave up on…). This year will be different. :)

And since they’re finally coming to South Africa, this now becomes do-able! I have my ticket already, and can’t wait for 26 February 2007.
