Every time I see them on TV or read about them I get this feeling of befuddlement. How can something like that be real? I definitely need to do this. I can couple this with my goal of going to Alaska.

Don't know where to start...

I was thinking of getting some software for this but looking online it seems the options are expensive and not very good. I think I’ll look for a college around here that has a class and try to get in there. Or maybe a “How to” book will do the trick.

A couple years ago I got about 100 pages into it but for some reason I stopped. This time, I will stick to it and finish. My parents have two copies of it. One is really, really, really long. I think I’ll choose the shorter version. hehe
