made my dad get out his old Nikon camera, which is one from the FE series and fortunately still has some film left in it, so I got to snap a couple shots :) clearly I needed some pointers, so my dad talked to me about aperture, shutter speed, ASA, focus, etc. I also found some pretty sweet sites online with good explanations, so I’m somewhat familiar with the basics. way excited to start taking more photos!

I’ve picked up learning the guitar once again. I’m playing my dad’s classic guitar (not quite sure of the name, but I know it’s really nice!) and am starting with basic songs and scales. The finger maneuvering was difficult at first (for both hands), but I’ve actually found my notes coming out more clearly, so I guess I’m making progress…

Finished my pillowcase :) it’s pretty decent, but i don’t know how to do a seam finish, so hopefully the fabric won’t fray much..
don’t know what i’ll do next. perhaps a tote bag?
