I finally realized my mother will probably never respond to the truth so it would be useless to try to tell her the truth about our relationship. Instead I just started speaking my mind case by case and maybe one day that will be enough to make her realize I’m not her little windup toy anymore and make her stop trying to hurt me.

buy another guitar that I really love
When I was a kid I used to drool over every catalog that came into the house.

I’ve been to broke to think about another guitar the last few years but I’m reaching a point where I need a second for a different sound when I play out. I’m so used to this guitar I don’t know how I’m gonna get used to anything else but it could be fun to try!
