I’m getting lazy and hungry. I’m trying, but this weekend is gonna be a big one with family and entertaining and I love to cook and i love to eat, so I’m going to have problems maintaining my 140. I have a feeling by the end of the weekend i’m going to be pushing 143. Ugh. I feel so freaking stuck!!

i’m reading a good book – “you on a diet”...it’s the first diet book i’ve ever really read. It’s by Dr. Oz (oprah’s buddy) so it’s pretty informative, right down to the chemicals that drive our hunger or our satiety. It’s pretty interesting. It’s helping me to think about what food i put into my body and how i treat my body. I’m committing to walking at least 30 minutes a day. It does help that it’s warm out now. I lost about 4 pounds, but i’ve been doing that for almost a year- bouncing around those four pounds. Last summer i was down to 132 or something like that, now i’m 140. But when i decided to lose weight a few months ago, i was almost 145. Moving to a new home did me in. I ate junk and didn’t do any exercising. So, now i’m pretty much back to the beginning. But i’m trying and that’s what counts. I’ll just keep trying to get back to 120. Someday. :)
one of the ways i’m going to motivate myself to drive less often, is to track everytime i fill my gas by marking it on a calender, and each time i mark it i want there to be more days in between until i’m filling up only once a month. Let’s see if this works. :)
