It’s been a fantastic conversion. I’ve never considered myself an amimal rights activist, but I’ve always been very much against waste. When I met the love of my life, I didn’t fully understand his choice to be a vegan. When we decided to move in together I began researching since I would be the one primarily cooking and wanted to make sure that we were getting all the nutrients we needed. The more I read, the more I realized that I agreed with vegansism as a principle. (PETA still freaks me out though. D:) I decided that with the new year I would eliminate animal products from my diet. I have never felt better physically or mentally. I still own leather and wool from before my conversion and I do still wear it, but I no longer purchase items that exploit animal resources. While I know it’s near impossible to be a pure vegan, I’m glad that I am taking the extra step toward making my planet a better place.

I’M LEAVING TO BOSTON IN JUNE!!!! My boyfriend and I are packing up and GOING! We have to wait until our lease is up, but everything is in the working. Good Bye E’ville, Hello BOSTON!
I’m not a Christian. I’ve explored it, it wasn’t for me. But I make a point of reading as much about religion as I can.
This is what I would tell anyone, christian or not.
don’t only study one religion. Study all of them. Not necessarily to convert, but so you understand. If you are an evangelical, know what you’re up against so you can defend what you believe. If you’re looking for a religion, read EVERYTHING because the churches don’t always get it right.
And Literature Majors? Read the Bible. It will enhance your reading of SO many western passages, especially in Brit Lit.
