Take a free online class
Untitled 4 years ago

I often come across sites that offer a free online class in this or that. Some look pretty interesting. I’m going to actually try one.

Here’s a few to choose from:

... hmm. Ended up surfing all over the place and forgot what I was supposed to be doing!

I’ll get back to this later! :)

drink more water
Another step in the right direction 4 years ago

I need to get healthier!

So far, this is my 3rd entry for a healthier self. Stop smoking, no more McDonald’s, and drink water. I think that’s a fairly good start.

Doing fine on the McDonald’s front. I’m still smoking. In the morning- I will start to add water to my diet again.

It seems the only time I drink water the way I should is when I’m pregnant. With the youngest, I drank a gallon a day! Nothing else tasted right. Since then, I’ve been on a steady Diet Pepsi binge. And a lot of it.

So- there it is. Starting tomorrow- I want to drink at least 3 glasses of water a day. Once I get that to be a habit, we’ll talk about an increase.

Quit Smoking
I must 4 years ago

I can’t friggin breathe anymore.

My grandmother has emphysema and had to quit over 10 years ago. Why am I not able to see the light?!

I’ve been smoking since I was 12, and have tried to quit so many times. I’ve never even lasted a day.

I know I can do it; I know I have to do it.

I have to do this.
