How I did it: I made myself sit with the guitar or keyboard or pen and write. The motivation doesn't come naturally, so I have to "just do it" Nike style. I took the first week of November off work to give me more time. I don't think I could do it if I didn't get a good head start. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I opened the journal to the next blank page and wrote "The Lake and the Leaning Tree" in black ink. Then I wrote "Saturday" in purple ink. Then I wrote "Nine Things That Are Not Other Things" in green ink. Then I wrote "Manual Hold Condition" in blue ink. I continued writing the lyrics for the rest of the songs with cycling through those ink colors. Read how I did it…

I resurrected this because I’ve been on a primal diet and I’m down 25 pounds from when I posted this goal. Over halfway there! I’m not weighing again until Jan 1, 2012.
