How I did it: I opened the journal to the next blank page and wrote "The Lake and the Leaning Tree" in black ink. Then I wrote "Saturday" in purple ink. Then I wrote "Nine Things That Are Not Other Things" in green ink. Then I wrote "Manual Hold Condition" in blue ink. I continued writing the lyrics for the rest of the songs with cycling through those ink colors. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just kept making payments every month, of course. Then, toward the end, I made bigger payments. Then I made a point to not spend a whole lot on other junk and paid off the loan in big chunks. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I peeled a turnip. Then I sliced it thin. Then I brushed a cookie sheet covered in foil with olive oil. Then I lay the slices on the sheet and brush them with olive oil. Then I baked in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Then I let them sit for 10 minutes or so. Read how I did it…

I’ve written 7 songs, completely recorded 5, partially recorded 1 and need to fill just a little over 1.5 minutes more. Since I can do one cover, I’m thinking about doing The Who’s “Boris the Spider” so I can play some fun bass.
With two weekends left in the month, I’m feeling pretty good that I’ll have time to finish. I’m concerned about a cough that I’m developing from allergies. If it doesn’t go away, I’ll still finish, but it will sound like a bullfrog sang the songs.
