I was able to pay off my credit card with my student loans. I recently lost my job and started graduate school, so money is tighter than ever. I’m looking for a part-time job to pay off the rest of my debts (I had other credit cards in debt consolidation), and I’m also looking into some scholarships to reduce the amount I will owe upon graduation. Slowly, but surely, I’m getting there.
I never did find a second job, and I’m getting laid off. On the upside, I’m starting grad school winter quarter. On another downside, though, this means I’ll be ever poorer than usual. But I’m still happy.
