As a kid my parents put me in ballet (didn’t keep it up), figure skating (didn’t keep it up), brownies (didn’t keep it up).
For some reason, I didn’t express desires to do these kinds of things, or get involved in sports. My parents didn’t believe in pushing me into them either.
Now that I am an adult, I have these interests, and I hope to explore them. I just wish I didn’t feel so.. late.
My son is now seven years old, and even though he proclaims to not be interested in things (other than swimming lessons), I’m placing him into them because I hope that his interest will ‘stick’, for lack of a better word.

Just once I would like to do this. Its terribly impractical stuff to buy, but the science backs up the claim that smell can improve your mood. And I’m all for things that improve my mood!

This is something that will be a lot of fun. Just drive.. and keep driving, with no map and no destination. See where you end up, and what kind of fun you would have on the way.
My ex… the one who just dumped me; he cannot do this. He is mortally afraid of going anywhere without a map, and is terribly afraid to get lost. That is something that I cannot fathom. I guess he wasn’t the right guy for me after all.
