I recently did my very first half marathon, and for me it was a huge deal. I am only fifteen years old, and both of my parents run so the pressure has always been on. I finished in two hours, witch was good considering I had next to no training. The only training I had was an eight mile run about two weeks prior. I strongly suggest you do not do the same thing.(: I encourage everyone to run at least one half marathon. It is a confidence booster just knowing you have it in side of you to do it. If I were going to give you one piece of advice it would be to run with someone you absolutely love, and make sure not to be too far away from someone completely strange, because you may love that person at the start of the race, but about half way threw, a stranger is going to seem like a god to you!! Everyone in the world needs to do one. I can’t wait to do my whole marathon in a couple months! My next goal is to do a full marathon by the time I am sixteen! I love ya’ll. XOXO

How I did it
How I did it: Train hard, your longest run recommended would probably be a ten mile run, at the least an eight mile run. Don't go out there on your first half and think that you are going to win it, go out there thinking you can only do better after this. And flat out just have fun! Enjoy yourself, and the beauty around you. Read how I did it…
