It was nice to relax after work and take advantage of the happy hour specials, however the bar I went to wasn’t really in my age range, so it wasn’t the best for meeting people.

I already eat tons of fruit and a bit of vegetables. I’m definitely not a ‘ketchup is a vegetable’ or ‘corn is my primary veggie’ type. I really like my veggies. Butternut squash, brussel sprouts, peppers, mushrooms, cauliflower are all yummy. But I’d like to eat at least as much vegetables in a day as I eat fruit. More, More!
I took a walk down the street for about 20 minutes the other day to see what was around. People at my school think that I’m brave because I walk in the city alone. I don’t think anything of it. I just like to walk around.
I got my book in the mail and have finished reading the prologe. It took me about an hour to get through it, but I’ve been enjoying reading in a German finally on my own.
Well, I’m not sure if this really counts, but three of my photographs are going to be shown in the student exhibit in april. YES!
This keeps getting harder. I keep seeing two kinds of people: the people that mistake my words and actions for something horrible, and the people who are in awe of me. Never the people who just want to be with me.
I try not to become too attached to the things I am with. Each time I feel that way, I simplify. I cut back on the amount of material goods that I have, back to the things I need. This is especially difficult when I’m living with the exact opposite roommate who keeps and collects things just ‘in case’ she might need it. I never rely on the ‘in case’. If I can live without it, then I won’t need it for the ‘in case’ situations. I’ll be able to find something else just as easily with my mind and my friendships than with material goods.
I’ve done it. And now I’m the crazy girl who listens to some radio station that isn’t music in my dorm. I’ve come to cherish wait wait don’t tell me.
Hidden Rocks in VA and Endless Wall in New River Gorge, WV.
Climbing on real rock is by far much better than climbing at a gym imo.
I think my stereo system and wooden speakers will do just fine for listening to music. I mean, you can’t jog with them, but why would you want to jog with music when you can take in the scenery around you?
Well, I’ve started up darkroom black and white photography with my old pentax instead of just the usual digital slr stuff. It’s going. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to color photography soon.
Accomplished. The downside is that I only talk to two people ever anymore. But seriously. I’m a hermit anyway.
I’ve been riding my bike around me often. And the money that’s in my wallet tends to stay there for about a month before it gets used. But’s it’s not about money.
