I've done something too! - Throwless.com 1 year ago

I don’t want to recycle only my rubbish, but I want others to recycle too. So I was thinking on how to help other people to recycle more.
There are several things (about 43 :) that will encourage people to recycle more. I will mention two:

1/ Reward people who recycle – lots of rubish is recyclable and consist of valuable compounds. ie, if somone will come up with an idea on how to make money on recycling aluminium cans, then part of those money can go to the people who will collect those cans. And then instead of paying your local council for taking your rubbish you can actually get paid for separating your rubbish.

2/ Make recycling easy – people are lazy (including me), so if process of recycling is difficult then they will not care to use it. So I created a site – http://Throwless.com, that tries to make recycling of used items easier.
Idea is that instead of throwing away stuff that you don’t need you give it to someone. eg If you bought new fancy TV and you are going to throw away your old one, just post it on the site and maybe your neighbour who is not as fortunate as you, will pick it up and use.
