I fell off the wagon, but I’m still committed to quitting and staying quit. So saying, I’m now on the patch. It’s not easy, but a lady I met at work today told me, well, you just have to look at it like, it’s just a cigarette. I don’t need that crap in my life.
It’s an extraordinarily simple thing, but she may be onto something.
Lately, it seems like there aren’t a lot of positive things in my life, so I’m trying to inject positive things into it and make the best of things.
I’m not even Jewish, though whether I’m related to anyone who is Jewish is a complete mystery to me. I’m not sure if it matters. I want to learn Hebrew for the same reason I wanted to learn German: I like it. Seems like a cool challenge. I also want to learn Swedish, French, Sanskrit and maybe Chinese. I speak a bit of Spanish and I’m trying to polish my German, but hopefully I can work my way up to being multilingual.
