How I did it: I set aside everything I didn't seem to be wearing, and had a friend help me be ruthless with things I wanted to keep— so many things I was hanging onto, she said she'd never seen me wear! and she was right, I never did wear them.I also set myself to the task of learning what kinds of clothes flatter my shape the best, and suit my lifestyle and personality. I finally got a grown-up bed (haha) with a frame and a headboard. although it takes up way more space in my room, I can put things under it! yay!
I got so excited about my bedroom’s re-vamp, I posted it here in saucy dwellings on livejournal.
I basically just need to tackle the living/dining room & make it more functional, pretty it up a bit, and I will be done!
I posted today for the first time in four months! summer dresses and sandals and shorts are making me feel good. yay warm weather!
next step: wear my dresses more, with scarves, and maybe try to find some new tops to wear with shorts.
