How I did it: I wanted to go see Nine Inch Nails back in 1999 when A Perfect Circle was opening for them, but that didn't happen since I was a minor and couldn't get to the show in Philly. At that point, I made it one of my goals to see Trent before one of us died, and back then it looked like it was going to be him before me.I ended up missing a few more shows due to my military schedule and every time it felt like I had missed my last opportunity.Aft… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got my first tattoo with my ex, we went to a shop where he wanted a drawing done, and I was going to get something small. At first I was going to back out since I didn't know any of the artists or exactly what I wanted, but then I got a great idea and ran with it. That was what I got and I have no regrets. I have a well stocked bookshelf, with contemporary and classics, fiction and non-fiction, politics and humor, and everything in between. I think my major stumbling block in reading all the books I currently own is a I get turned off to the classics if no one is pushing me to read them. Which is ridiculous because while I was still in school I loved Faulkner, Twain, Emerson, and discovering old authors. I think I just use contemporary as an easy escape from my day. But today I think I’ll incorporate an older book into my reading rotation.
My Mom has always wanted to go to the Kentucky Derby. She wanted to go with my grandfather, but they never did before he passed away. I feel like my very existence has prevented my mom from doing a lot of thinsg she wanted to do before I came along, so I’d like to get here there.
