ok, so my last entry was about body contact stuff and how awkward that is, which it is, still…
but last week we went over the tango, and if I thought I stepped on toes a lot with foxtrot, tango was a toe stepping failure! Nothing we did worked, at all! Towards the end everytime my foot touched hers I could feel her hand quiver with pain. I felt like a dog!
But this week we did tango again, an we spoke a bit before and looked at our posture, body position and the leg movement and the whole night I only stepped on her once. It was way more fun!
So it goes to show, a bit of talking can go a long way :)
We also have lots of fun doing the east coast swing, that’s a fun, but tiring dance!

Ok, So I’ve been taking ballroom dancing lessons for about 4 months now, and for the most part its been fun and exciting. My partner and I have become good friends. The other night we were learning the fox trot which is a fun dance, but our teacher said everyone had to go into body contact for the dance, which was awkward because we’re not a couple, but our instructor insists that its the way things are at the more advanced level. I kept stepping on her toes, my posture was all wrong. Eish, I need to fix up a lot of things before next week!

I know this is a silly goal, but every year my church gets one for spring celebration and for easter, and every year I’m so busy that by time i’m able to go ride the silly thing they are busy packing up. So this year for spring celebration, i’m doing it. I’ll just dissapear for a few minutes, and everyone will be “Where’d Ant go?” and when I get back I’ll be all “I was here the whole time? What? Its not like I went to go ride the mechanical bull! ;)”
