How I did it: You just have to decide to go. Pick a movie you've really been wanting to see. That helps. I like to go on weeknights. It's a nice mellow activity after a rough day at work, plus it's less crowded. You can concentrate more, and since it's you and only you, if the movie is bad, you don't have to feel guilty for dragging a friend to see it. How I did it: I started looking into Top 100 lists like the Modern Library's list, Reader lists, lists from newspapers, libraries, schools, etc. Philip Ward's Lifetime reading plan... I started to realize how much was out there. So then I started to jot down titles that peaked my interest. The list became very big very fast.
